I am playing the autoharp and listening to records, specifically Sibylle Baier. I'm realizing that I am not very smart. Interesting.

I am realizing I'm not invincible. Also, interesting.

I will be up north in 18 days.

Hi there;

I really never update this, but here goes.

1. I cannot wait until Thanksgivng. Or Christmas. Or next semester. Or Spring Break. Or the summer. Or to move to Santa Fe.

1.5: I want to apply as an intern to SITE: Santa Fe, regardless of the retarded name.

2. I want to take another internship, as I'd be a full time student in Fall '07 with correspondence werk. Minneapolis, anyone? Late graduation?

3. Brian Eno is weeeeeeeeird.

4. Life is exciting, but I'd like to have Daniel here. Go 'canes.

5. I'm losing my ability to write coherently.

6. I'm going to teach Asha how to play the autoharp today! Yesss!

Sincerely,
Adrienne

I'm going to live in Santa Fe next fall semester; I'm going to be a big hippie and live in my step-grandfather's condo off of Alameda. It's full of his maps and pictures of his ex wife. I'm going to bring my mac, some charcoal, and a percolater and earn three hours of credit for an internship at Hand Graphics.

How fun.

I dropped by Anita's house to get my prodigal camera back from Durant. I peeked inside the Rice family living room (my camera was out in a Wild Oats bag under a bush of mint, along with Daniel's melodica) and it made me sad. The stenciled Dutch birds in the kitchen reminded me that I miss the Rice Family. I'm frustrated with printmaking: I don't have any kind of clear voice or strong sense of style (I don't care about design) to carry me through platemaking. Print is allegedly my major.

I'd like to take a semester off. School can be stifling. I need some hard (physical) work. Sometimes I feel like TU is one big coolness contest, and I'm pretty sure I'm not winning. That's cool, right?

PS- Dear Livejournal: no, I will not upgrade my account. What a rip.
